For easier distinguishing between levels of reactions, indent your reply by prefixing it with colons (i.e. if you are the first one to reply, add a single colon, and if you are replying on a reply, add one colon more than the reaction you are replying on).

Pioneer pages

After entering the term "pioneer" in the search function, three pages are listed. None of them however is the page that I am looking for. The page that I am looking for is the Pioneer page on which at least three pioneers are mentioned. Regine.

This is because the pioneergroup page can be found by looking for pioneergroup. i will ask raymond how to make change it. also you can sign your posts on talkpages by typing ~~ ~~ but then without the space in the middle. jorisvantende 22:43, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Looking for pioneergroup gives the same three results, not the one I am looking for Dr. ir. Regine W. Vroom - Industrial Design Engineering - Delft University of Technology 07:35, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
In fact, I'm having the same problem, even when I do search by the exact provided search term "pioneergroup." Is something broken?

Ps. The page itself can be found here, Regine. I don't know why the search tool cannot find it, though. StephanHooft 10:59, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanx Stephan. I have just spoken with Raymond Jelierse. He will have a look at it. Dr. ir. Regine W. Vroom - Industrial Design Engineering - Delft University of Technology 11:32, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
The reason it does not find the page directly is because the WikID-namespace isn't searched by default. Furthermore, the search function apparently only matches complete words, not parts of it. So, in short, the pioneergroup-page can be found by searching for pioneergroup and including the WikID-namespace in the search. Rjelierse 13:57, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

A few remarks about importing articles

  • The import wizard does not copy images and copies all the links from the original page, creating the impression that all those are 'wanted pages', while probably only a selection of them are actually wanted at this stage in WikID development.
  • I might get started on modifying the import wizard to deal with this or write a new script to handle it. Since i'm not an experienced programmer, I could use some help though.

A new extension was written to clean up imported pages: Edit Links. Further documentation is found here.
